We're happy to announce the details of 2011's Purina DiscCrusher Cup - the Austrian Championships of Dog-Frisbee - which will take place at ÖRV Riederberg (near Vienna, Austria) from the 3rd to 4th of September 2011. The DCC'11 is open internationally and we're glad to be your hosts!  

The disciplines are: Freestyle (with a separate beginners class), Mini Distance, Long Distance and Dog Dartbe - two legs each. An overall over all disciplines (the %-weight is: 60,15,15,10) will determine the medal positions and overall champion of 2011's DisccrusherCup as well as the Austrian Champion 2011.

Freestyle - Judge'n Play
We've decided to apply the Judge'n Play rules and game system for this year's freestyle performances - as it's great fun! There are at least two pools, A and B and every participant is either player or judge. Each pair of two players together judge the abilities in the categories "human", "canine" and "team". In the second round the pools are divided according to the results of the first leg and the final positions are determined.  As we're part of the official judge'n play series, your points will also count for the Discrocker's ranking system.   

The entry fee is 15€ (10€ for every further dog) and allows you to participate in all disciplines. We have small starter packages for all participants and nice value prices for the medal winners. You're allowed to camp at the field with no additional costs or if you prefer something more comfortable we recommend the following two accommodations (link1, link2), both are very dog-friendly.

The player's registration starts on Saturday morning 8:30 (breakfast from 8:00 onwards) - please be sure to bring along your dog's vaccination card. There's a canteen with drinks and small sandwiches that's open all day long and on Saturday evening we'll arrange a barbeque.
